Call to Action!

Travel to Albany with the Long Island Recovery Association (LIRA) and participate in the 2017 Statewide Recovery Advocacy Day event. Bus transportation to and from Albany will be provided courtesy of LIRA for those who register in advance. Join hundreds of individuals, family members and allies from across New York State to stand up for recovery at the State Capitol. Rally in the morning and meet with your state legislators in the afternoon.

We call for:

$45.25 Million In New Funding: to support a statewide network of local recovery support services for individuals and families focused on minimizing relapse and maximizing the changes needed for sustained recovery: Recovery Community Organizations (RCO's), Recovery Community & Outreach Centers (RCOC's), Youth Clubhouses, Recovery Coaches and Family Support Navigators in every county in New York State.
